I was enjoying myself at Victoria School from 1990 to 1993.
This is the class of 1E (1990) at the orientation camp in Sarimbun.
The class of 2E (1991). We were celebrating the first ever Victoria Challenge by building a pyramid made up of drink cans.
The graduating class of 4J (1993). The class with the 'undying advantage'. :> Basically, the most 'fun' class to be in of its batch, and probably in the school's history, according to some teachers. ;> This was taken with our fave Maths teacher and vice-principal, Mdm Yip.
I was also in the pioneer batch of the VS choir, performing in its inaugural concert.
We participated in the Choral Festival, part of the Singapore Youth Festival 1993. The choir performed 2 pieces, "Exultate Justi" and a medley of Chinese Folk songs in the preliminary adjudication for the secondary school choirs on 13 July 1993. The result? The Victoria School choir (with me in it) was awarded a Certificate of Distinction.
