CJC's 'orphan girl'

THE life of an orphan girl who does not believe in Christ's redemption is transformed when she is transported to the Nativity scene 2,000 years ago. So went the storyline of Catholic Junior College's 1998 Christmas play (above) presented by the school's Catholic Activities Council.

The annual Christmas play, which has been a tradition for the college since the 1970s, was staged in a packed Lecture Theatre 2 on the evening of Dec 18. The cast included non-Catholics who sacrificed their holidays to come down to school to rehearse their roles and put up the props.
